Well renowned for its sustainable development, Victoriaville has once again brought public and private sectors together for a one-day forum. Le Victorin’s hotel hosted this event on September 6 2017. A gathering cocktail took place in Carré 150 the evening before. Around 240 people attended, exchanged and shared their expertise on sustainable development.
Three thematic were highlighted: smart cities, sustainable territory planning and circular economy. Participants were organised by tables. Each table represented a municipality.
In addition, actors from various horizons of the field, joined in to bring a complementarity point of view. Thirty cities took part, showing the challenges they face to industrial, commercial, research and education actors who attended to the event. Each table had to put forward a project to cope with challenges for the coming years.
Aéronergie was invited to join the table of the city of Lévis.
A really entertaining theater play started the discussion. After a specific time, each table presented their project to a jury of 3 persons plus one in case of a ty. The winning municipality was awarded 10,000.$ to put forward its project.
