At the end of 2017, Aéronergie completed a very important energy efficiency project at the Microbird company. Girardin Bus produces school buses since 1958. Its head office is located in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada. Microbird is a subsidiary of Blue Bird and Girardin Minibus since 2009.
Microbird called upon Aéronergie to reduce substantially its energy consumption. The project included six heat exchangers, 12,000 square foot of solar walls, eight air curtains and heat recovery from the compressors chamber. Application to different available grants reduced the capital investment by more than 60%
Aéronergie managed every aspect of the project from start to finish on time and on budget.
